Using the exact same coffee in the Espresso All'Italiana, Portioli sends the raw coffee to be decaffeinated instead of buying already decaffeinated coffee from a farm. By taking this extra step, Portioli is able to craft a decaf coffee with high grade beans that are normally unavailable in a decaffeinated version. The end result is a premium quality decaf that tastes nearly identical to the Espresso All'Italiana.
