The BWT Bestsave is designed to prevent calcium build up and scaling while at the same time maintaining the great flavor profile provided by minerals in your water. Using BWT's proprietary Mg2+ technology, the Bestsave is able strip out and remove harmful scale inducing calcium carbonate from your water without negatively impacting the flavor that commonly plagues more traditional water softeners.

Capacity Details
Capacity of the filter varies on water hardness which can be measured using the Vivreau hardness test kit
Average capacity based on low hardness water is 50L
Los Angeles Water - Average LA County water has a hardness of 15 dKH which would be approx. 30L (about 1 month of use)
Maximum limit for sanitation purposes is 2 months

Instructions
Briefly rinse off the BWT packet to remove any packaging dust or debris and place into your machines water tank. Once in the water tank, fill the tank and wait 10 hours to allow the filter time to remove the calcium carbonate. Top off the water tank each day to allow the filter sufficient time to remove the calcium carbonate.
